Job Description

Title: Software Engineer in Irving, Texas.

Duties:

Develops systems and software solutions by studying information needs, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, write software meeting specifications and requirements; Documents and demonstrates complex solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code while working within the Agile Scrum software development methodology; Improves operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies, processes and procedures; Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations; Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related tasks as assigned.

Eligibility Criteria :

Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or another related field and two years of experience. Two years of Software engineering or software development  experience. Two years of experience working in web-based hosting service for version Control, such as github, gitlab, bitbucket. One year of experience working in distributed data systems like kafka, storm, mysql, mongodb and Cassandra. Two years of coding experience in one or more programming languages (java, php, python, css, springboot, javascript, node.js, etc) and platforms such as maven, gradle. Experience building scalable backend services (rest APIs, microservices, designing and implementing efficient data processing algorithms, messaging paradigms, middleware, persistent store). Experience working with AWS or other public cloud platform. Familiarity with agile and scrum methodologies. Requires travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S.
