Modifies existing computer systems to fit new business needs and ensure a smooth workflow. Create functional system requirements with business and architecture collaboration. Create Application Control document detailing the access and controls needed in the new system. Ensures the system design fits the needs of the users, and revises system designs as needed. Consults with management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and computer systems requirements. Create data mapping and use case diagrams to show the system behavior and describe required systems changes for development, QA and other internal customers. Conduct direct sessions with end users to elicit business and user requirements, and to convert business and user requirements into functional information systems. Work with key members of the management team to ensure agreement on computer system principles. Reads and interprets case management systems and technical literature and translates in terms understandable to the end users. Assists in the preparation of proposals to develop new computer systems and/or business operational changes. Coordinate and link the computer systems within the business organization to optimize the sharing of information within a company. Tracks and fully documents computer system changes for functional and business specifications. Gathering business requirements by conducting detailed interviews with business users, stakeholders, and Subject Matter Experts (SME’s). Communicating and interacting on a regular basis with the project manager and development team during different stages of the project. Preparing Business Requirement documents and converting business requirements into functional specifications. Conducting Functional Walkthroughs, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions, and assisted the development of User Manuals for customers Involved in writing Test Cases, procedures, reports and approval of software release. Performs Regression Testing and creates test scenarios for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Requires: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related and 4 years of experience; Any amount of experience in the following: creating users, roles and profiles; utilizing SQL Code for writing custom build report through report builder tool; and, Software configuration management (SCM), Rational Unified Process (RUP), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile and Waterfall. Requires travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S.
