Consultadd Voices of Consultadd

Life is an adventure and going to college is one of the most exciting but exhausting experiences for many people, especially international students. When I first came to America, I did not even know how to cross the road correctly! This was the very first time I have been away from home, my family, and traveling alone to the USA with no family and friends already living in The States. Plenty of things have happened in my life as an international student throughout these couple of years, and I am excited to share with you all my experiences, feelings, and emotions. I will start with a little bit of my background. I am an MBA graduate from India. Almost 5 years ago, I started applying for universities in the USA for higher education It was my dream to come to the USA, especially New York. I had no idea if my family would agree to it. I remember until the last day my Dad asking me if I am really going. My dream finally came true my family agreed and I got an acceptance letter from 3 universities. I decided to go to Pace University, New York for Masters in Management Information Systems.

I studied MS at Pace University and graduated in December 2017. While I was studying there, I was meeting new people during the class, getting good grades, I absolutely enjoyed my college days and this new phase of my life. After graduating, I faced certain hardships in getting a job it was hard to get a job in the field of my interest I tried my best but would always get rejections since nobody would hire a fresher with no experience whatsoever. That is where Consultadd came in. They played a very big role in my life, trained me for my first job, and got me a project. It has been almost 2 and a half years since I have been with them, they have been helpful from the beginning of my career to the pandemic and what not.

Apart from this, I use travel as an escape from daily life. Having future trips already planned brings me joy and gives me something to look forward to. I have never regretted a single trip I have taken. I like the discovery part of it. I like to explore new things, new places, new views, new people, new everything. Whether it is hiking a scenic overlook with old friends or eating flatbread on the side of the road with new friends. I enjoy every moment of it. There are many ways to explore new things, but traveling is the most satisfactory as it is the most comprehensive way as it encompasses many elements from views to people to foods, etc. I also like getting away from the routine, the daily chores, the daily work, and daily life and have a kind of break from reality if you know what I mean.
