“Nishant is a practical and determined person. He knows how to strike a healthy balance between work and personal life. Working at Expedia as a Software Engineer has given him more confidence and prepared him for new challenges that will help him grow. ”

Born and brought up in New Delhi India, I am an easygoing person who has always accepted every challenge with an open heart and a motivation to find a solution to it. In my spare time, I enjoy reading about astronomy. Astronomy intrigues me because of the beauty, of supernovas, moons, planets, stars, and galaxies. And the answers that space stores for us.

I recently took a trip to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. Where I got to touch a piece of the moon brought back to Earth by the astronauts on Apollo 17. There are only a few places in the world where you can touch a piece of the Moon brought back during the Apollo missions, and they are all from this Apollo 17 sample. Over sometimes I have also developed an interest in fitness. I started my journey into fitness a few months ago. Adventure sports: I like Rock Climbing and SkyDiving. I want to travel the whole world and experience diverse culture, food, and people.

Coming from New Delhi, India, I completed my B.tech in Computer Science from Sharda University, Greater Noida. After graduation, I moved to New York for completing my master’s in Computer Science at the New York Institute of Technology. Growing up my father has been my idol and I dream to start my own software business or provide your software services using the technical skills and knowledge that I have.

After moving to New York, I knew I had to work hard to thrive and be successful. I completed an M.S. in computer science to study a field I love and enjoy. There’s nothing more satisfying than solving a problem that’s been around for a while and nobody else knows how to solve it. As a Software Engineer, you constantly provide solutions for users’ problems. One can be working on the occasional quick fix as well as more complex strategic solutions.

Some problem-solving skills required to be a Software Engineer include being able to split complex goals into smaller, more manageable people. One should also be able to think in parallel. This means taking the smaller tasks, rearranging them, and seeing if any are unnecessary so one can optimize the tasks and save time. Furthermore, completing my master’s accelerated my career growth.
